Great information in one place!!! Thanks Bruce.

Lindsey, Logan and I had a wonderful time at the 2010 Essex Junction event.
We also really enjoy spending time with our friends with street outfits that show up at Summit Point.
The past two years, CCS has given us a few laps on track at Summit on the lunch brake!
New Hampshire Motor Speedway is hosting the 3ed Festival of Sidecars this year during Laconia Bike Week.
So if you have a roadrace outfit, come on out.

Sidecar Pete

Spectator Information:

Spectators pay a $25 “gate fee” for the weekend that gets you into the grandstands. If you would like to get into the infield (pits), there is an additional charge of $25 for a weekend “infield Pass”. Sidecar club spectators will be allowed to camp (tent or RV) among the race teams in the infield for $25 per site for the weekend with electric and water, however, you must inform the track which sidecar club you are affiliated with when applying for your camping space. If there are any problems with trying to camp among the sidecar race teams, inform the track that this arrangement has been made between James Laura and Tommy Blanchette. There are RV dump facilities available. Bathrooms and showers are close by. There are no restrictions on children attending. Dogs have to be kept on a leash at all times and you have to pick up after them.

There is a café in the infield that has sandwiches, burgers, dogs, ice, etc. There are several good places to eat nearby. There are motel/hotel accommodations on Rt. 106 near the track, but you’re advised to make reservations early. More accommodations are available in Concord, about 20 minutes away, see www.nhms.com for a listing.

A parade lap for spectators with sidecars is scheduled for Saturday at lunch time. A fee of $15 per outfit will be charged.

This race weekend will also feature the U.S. Legend Cars International, which are powered by motorcycle engines, as well as motard (dirt bike) events on both a small mini-oval and the full road course.

The Loudon Classic motorcycle/sidecar races are run in conjunction with the Laconia Motorcycle Week event, so there will be other motorcycle activities in the area as you go north towards the town of Laconia.

June 18, 2012 - RIDE TO WORK DAY has been moved to the third Monday in June. So Ride To Work!!!

June 20 – 23, 2012 – 12th Annual Gathering of High Performance Sidecars in the Blue Ridge Mountains (Maggie Valley) of North Carolina. Most are staying at Applecover Inn and RV Park 4077 Soco Road, Maggie Valley, NC 28751. For more information, go to http://www.hpsidecar.com/ or contact Roger Symington Sidebike99@aol.com

June 22 – 24, 2012 – 3x3x3 Gathering - This is a gathering of Ural owners for the most part, although other makes are welcome to join us. Please keep in mind that we have been known to do a lot of riding on gravel/dirt roads. Ok who is ready to ride down Blackjack Road? Who is brave enough to ride the Fenelon Place Elevator? You will get your chance if you join Nancy and I. We will be staying at the Super 8 motel in Dubuque (1-563-582-8898) for the weekend. During the day we will be riding through the valleys and over the bluffs of the Upper Mississippi River Valley. During the evenings we have been known to sit out in the parking lot (bring your own lawn chair) kicking tires, telling lies and having a drink (adult beverage or not). All ages welcome as well as all riders, just be aware that this is based off the love of the Ural motorcycle. Some of the roads might be gravel or mud but not all. You might also want to bring along a pair of pants one size larger then you wear now, as there is plenty of good eating in this area.

One day we will ride a loop down through Galena, IL and on to Sabula, IA before working our way back to Dubuque for the evening. Another day we might head north out of Dubuque before ending up in either Wisconsin or Minnesota. On Sunday we will just ride around the local Dubuque area as time allows, before people have to start heading home. As many of you know the 3x3x3 stands for 3 States, 3 Wheels, 3 days.

If anybody has any questions about the ride contact Lee or Nancy Pape at: sidecarring@gmail.com

For those planning on attending the 3rd Annual Festival of Sidecars at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH June 15 – 17, 2012.

If you are planning on camping in the pit area among the sidecar racing teams, it will be very beneficial to have the full names of all those in your party, along with the sidecar club name you belong to. (i.e. USCA, ISOK, Northeast 3-Wheelers MC, etc). This information will be provided to the track gate to expedite check in, assure rates previously published, and reduce confusion.

Please send your information to me ASAP at stephens.bruce.d@gmail.com

I forgot to mention that on Thursday June 14th, after 6PM, is the earliest you can get into the race track.

For anyone interested in stopping by the UMCI International in Kamiah Idaho on their way to C d'A for the Rally By The Lake, I don't really have much information to pass on but I can get you the registration form and point you in the right direction to get information. Thought perhaps I should clarify that since my name is listed as a contact person. I will also mention that if it fits your travel plans, you won't be disappointed!!
