Subject: Power Steering Kit for Three Wheel Applications

Going through the Internet today, came across a Motorcycle Power Steering Kit that has been designed for Motorcycle Trike conversion (three wheel applications). The Power Steering system was first designed for a Honda 1800 GoldWing Trike conversion and can be installed also on Honda 1500 GoldWing Trike conversions.

My questions is all of our Technical Guru’s out there in the SideCar World is “How would this be for a Motorcycle and a SideCar” ?

A Motorcycle and SideCar is a three wheel application, YES, so what would be the advantages of this product ?

Hope to hear and have some good discussions back about this Motorcycle Power Steering Kit.

Regards

Best Buddy

HELLO BUDDY. IF YOU WANT TO FEEL POWER STEERING ON YOUR BIKE THEN GET A RAKED TRIPLE TREE. I USED A 5% RAKED TREE ON MY 94 FLHTC AND RIDING WENT FROM A CHORE TO A PLEASURE IT IS TRULY AMAZING WHAT A DIFFERENCE THE RAKED TREE MAKES. GOOD LUCK AND KEEP THE RUBBER SIDE DOWN !!!!! JOE CAPP

Buddy It sounds like you ran across an add for EZSteer or some such Raked Tripple Clamp kit. I think they advertise them a being like Power Steering although they are nothing more than a Rake Kit. However they do work well for Sidecar use. The local Dealer uses the EZSteer on 1500's and 1800's for most of the Hacks and Trikes that he builds with good results.

BTW how is that Hannigan 2+2 working out??
We are thinking about replacing our Escort with either a 2+2 or the new GTL for more room so that the wife can ride with the dogs especially in cold weather. As it is now the Escort only has room enough for the heelers.
