Does anyone make a reverse gear setup for the Honda VT?

Did a forum search and found nothing.

Have been told there is an electric version out there but cannot find anything on web wide search.

Thanks for any clues.

Never heard of any reverse for these bikes, we only add them if the rider has special needs as pushing a bike with a sidecar is so much easier then pushing a bike with out the sidecar.

Thanks for the feedback. The fellow I bought the bike from said that he researched it and there was an electric reverse similar to the one used on Gold Wings (?). I couldn't find any reference to it on the internet. As with my other two rigs, I'll just be careful where I park.

I notice you are with DMC Sidecars. Does your company have any connection with Dauntless sidecars? The rig I am buying has a "Dauntless" tandem sidecar. The previous owner who purchased it from Dauntless was very pleased with it. The rig is now waiting for me in northern OH at a very good friends home. The friend is also very impressed with it. First week of June my daughter and I will go up there and ride/drive it back to south MS. We are all fired up about the whole deal.

We re-organized several years back, dropped trailer production as well as some models of sidecars and changed the name. The sidecar you have we imported from China, we only brought in less then 10, quality was always an issue with these sidecars, many had to be reworked before we could sell them, others had to be discounted due to quality issues. All left here as good safe sidecars. We would have made the mounting hardware and www.bikescreen.com depending on which tandem you have may have a windshield.

Thanks for the info. The original owner who purchased it from you told me you had built all the mounting hardware and reworded the car in detail. He had owned it since 2003, I believe he said, and never had a problem with it. I will not be able to pick it up until the first week of next month. In the mean time, my buddy in OH is putting a few miles on it. He really likes the rig also. With a little tune up work and new tires on the bike, we expect to make the trip from northern OH to south MS without any problems. Everything I've heard so far tells me you did right by the cars.

Thanks
