I am mounting a Champion Escort sidecar to my BMW R1200RT. Have 2 questions I would love some help with.
Brake is hydraulic brake. Have a banjo connector that could mount directly to my rear brake caliper. However, I will need a longer banjo bolt for this. Since the stock banjo bolt has a bleeder in it, that complicates things. Any idea where I get this bolt?
Any other suggestions on making that connection? Since this bike has linked brakes I am a bit concerned on the bleeding/operation.
Brake light does not work with sidecar. Weird low/high voltage brake lights are used. Wondering what people use to make the brake light work with this funky wiring.

We have done many of these bikes and make proper mounts, we have the double banjo bolts but with out bleaders however we usually tie onto BMW brakes by adding a second master rather then tapping into the bikes systems. We also have an automotive rear wheel and tire set up for this bike as well as steering modifications.
As to the wiring, change the sidecars bulbs out to LED, wire just the brake light wire up. The bike pulses power to the brake light to make it glow dim so that it looks like a tail light, then it goes full on power for the brake light. Or you can wire the tail light threw a relay to any thing that comes on with the key.
