This is from another list I subscribe to. They will pay $750 per day. I have no stake in this. Just passing info along.
My name is Heather Huff and I work for an experiential events
company out of NYC. Our client, Remy Martin is a national cognac brand
and we are currently developing a 3 or 4 day event (sometime between May
31st-June 5th) to celebrate National Cognac Day in NYC. For this event,
we are looking to partner with motorcycle owners/drivers who have a
sidecar. We would like to brand the vehicle and have them visit
predetermined accounts as a photo opportunity for consumers.
Competitive Pay for each day; this can be discussed in detail.
Would you know of anyone that could be a good fit?
Here are the details:
**Driver and vehicle ideally would be available May 31st - June
5th. The actual event dates are still TBD but they will fall during
that time period.
**Vehicle must have a sidecar attached and custom vinyl spot
graphics would be applied by professionals. Vehicles would be returned
to their original condition at the end of the event. We will also need
the vehicle surveyed by our graphics team prior to installation. We
would prefer the vehicle to be mostly black, but that is not a deal
**Driver must be willing to interact with consumers and wear
1920's clothing (clothing provided).
** Driver must be willing to let consumers sit in sidecar/or on
the vehicle for photo ops.
**Driver would be required to make scheduled appearances at
**Driver must have all required licenses and insurance.
**Event Times are still TBD but will most likely begin around
6pm and end around 2am.
** We require current photos of the vehicle and the driver for
final approval by our client.
Thank you in advance for your assistance and any guidance you
could give to find the right person for this event, as I would love to
get in contact with them

I had the opportunity to have members of the USCA participate in a similar sort of event about a year ago. It was a similar event pushing some product. I gave it due consideration and declined. The USCA is a non-profit organization. We are also family oriented. As such I cannot give my approval for USCA to be involved as a club. That being said I can't prevent individual members from being involved as long as the club name or logo are not used.
