| I am replacing front wheel bearings on subject sidecar rig. The right side bearing is pressed into the hub, and is readily accessible. The left side bearing is viewable, but a speedo housing is fitted to the hub on the outside that bearing. Not sure how to remove that housing, whether the housing is screwed into the hub or more simply pressed in. Any guidance on how to remove that housing would be greatly appreciated.
The wheel is not the earlier spoke type, but the later style. It appears that the bearings need to be removed from its respective side, as the spacer tube does not move laterally much inside the hub.
I do plan to heat the hub, before removing either bearing.
Thank you,
Jim Scott

| The speedo drive is just a light press fit.

| Thanks Jay - will the housing pop out when removing the left side bearing or should it be removed before extracting the bearing? Jim
