Today on my birthday I gave myself my own singular birthday present...
The Ural main light switch button gets cut off in the factory by Ivan and companions.
I painted electronically one for to make a new one with a 3D printer.

Design is done. Now to convince my son to print it will be another more difficult task.
It is long time ago that I used to design electric plans and in 2 D...this program Onshape was a pain to get into. But now after a few pieces I start to like it. So if somebody takes this public design and prints his own button, the least he should do is bring out a toast to Peter Pan and son Thomas.

Cheers. :beerchug:

PS: Who else found he error ?

It was an Aguila cero (zero Ethanol) and Jägermeister. Ran out of Flor de Caña. Now to find someone to dance with?

How to pass a button through a hole? Sorry 2 holes.
That is the trouble with so perfectly working CAD systems, where people start to loose their brain for logic, and mostly designers never were tool makers first. But are kids from University.
Had been in a hurry and might have had the drink before sitting down.

I fixed the typical CAD beginners fault... now the button passes through the 2 small holes.

The person who tries the link above will be asked for a password access. Onshape is a "free" or "rented" cloud CAD pakage where the user needs to be registered before he can enter.

As you know: There is no such thing as free lunch!

For a free registration the user has to put all his designs as public property.
When I registered for to relearn from out dated 2D to modern 3D CAD, every user had the right for 10 private projects.
Now that has gone and the game rules changed. For a "free" licence you work for free for anybody who likes to look into your designs.
Here my big doubt: For a business application where you pay a licence fee. "Who guaranties that the designs stay private when a company doesn't continue paying its quote?"

He printed one, now clean up those tiny details. Definitely not a bargain. It would be cheaper to buy a switch and plunder it. Who knows how long this 3D stuff will work? (if at all)
