Let's hear some thoughts folks. here are the questions:

1) If you had only one sidecar specific tire you could add to a rig, where would it do the most good? a) Front, b) rear, c) sidecar

2) If you had only one sidcar specific tire you could add to a rig, where would it do the least good? a) Front, b) rear, c) sidecar

Ditto! I put a good quality automobile high speed tire on the back of the bike and a new motorcycle tire on the front.

I agree with sidecarmike.
Look at claudes reponse to rims and car tires for hacks.
The proper rim and an inexpensive(good quality) car radial tire can go a long way, save money and give more stability to your unit.
Do it once and do it right.
