There is some interesting info on their site - specifically in regards to Police models. Seems that this new ABS system has been engineered so as to be compatable with sidecars when attached to the Police bikes!
A major motorcycle manufacturer who actually engineers for sidecar compatability - wow, what a concept!

Which site are you refering to?? Post it here please, if it refers to sidecars.
The article said that the ABS System would not be offered on the H-D Police Sidecar installations.

Wiskers,
Ooops - not a site but an update I got at work. Looks to be a "trial system" for Police Departments.
None of our bikes are equipped with sidecars - just my personal ride - an FLHPI. The latest info before that is from the media release back in July where they say it will not be offered for sidecars. For the general public I guess it won't.

ABS, cool,
Now all they need is a (sidecar) chassis with suspension and the Motor Company will be all the way into the 20th Century.

What happened to your Positive Response on the H-D Sidecar???
I was going to send you info on the Rear Mounting Assembly.

Lonnie
They haven't improved on the U-Bolts, what makes you think they will improve on the suspension? I'll have to think about that. Torsion Bar?

Wiskers,
For some reason it struck ME wrong!
Just didn't sound right.
I would appreciate info on the rear mount you have - that looks like one tough unit!

Sidecarist have broad shoulders, that is we have to use them a lot to steer.
