Subject: H/D Sidecar ABS

Thought some of you might find this interesting.
In the latest edition (volume 75 #2 Fall) of the The Mounted Officer - the official H/D magazine for Motorcycle Officers there is an article on ABS brakes on the new Harley Police bikes. The article reads in part:
"There's more to be done, as we're planning for future compatibility with Harley-Davidson sidecars. In fact, we're in the midst of this special design project. Law Enforcement agencies currently employing sidecars, or which may desire to utilize sidecars for various reasons (including winter riding) may soon be able to have the added braking benifits of Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS). We hope to have news to share after the first of calendar year 2005 on this important development."

Hmmm, should at least be interesting to see how this shakes out! As more is published in regards to this sidecar info I'll pass it along.

Have a good & safe holiday weekend folks and most of all.........
Happy Motorin'
