When I needed a replacement seat, I made some measurements and started looking in the race car and rally car catalogs. I found several that would fit and had a choice of features. I don;t know how wide the Velorex 700 is but there are a ton of seats out there. Also, if you're shopping on the cheap [sometimes a good thing. sometimes a necessary thing but seldom a bad thing] try looking at replacement tractor seats at your local farm store. Fleet Farm had several options that would fit but I wanted something with a higher back. Good luck!

I've found several tractor and other equipment seats, both high and low back at Northern Tool & Equipment.
I even got one for my lawn tractor with a high back to prevent "whiplash" from sudden starts (lots easier on a bad back.

Good upholstery shop can do it for you. Also you can find seats on craigslist for free. Just take time. And may be some modifications.
