Random quote: The purpose of life's journey is NOT to arrive at the grave, safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a martini in the other, totally worn out, screaming WOO HOO...what a ride!

I wonder if the name has anything to do with Bart Markel of motorcycle racing fame?

when you insure your bike make sure you have enough accessory insurance .Most Insurance companies consider sidecars an accessory.if you have $1000 accessory insurance you only get $1000 for the sidecar.when i insured the 88 HD and sidecar the agent pointed this out i upped it to $5000 .when i was hit i was able to replace the bike and sidecar.
