I know this isn't the first time this has been done, and some even fancier than this, but this is such cool way to honor a fellow rider and vet. It wouldn't take much to build such a side"car", and it could be removed most of the time and quickly re-connected for special use.
Anyway, just wanted to share this with all of you! I like the idea!

I've always wondered if that could be done with a sidecar. Now I know!

There is a similar service near here but with a trike towing a hurst trailer. I've been to a few PGR missions where it was used.

We get several requests a year for these, no one has ever followed up however today we just sent a set of mounts out for left side fitment for an Indian for a funeral home in New Zealand that is building a similar set up.

saw a sidecar unit at a Port Dover (Ontario) Friday the 13th rally a few years ago. The owner used a platform from a hearse to allow the casket to be rolled on before locking it down. He also had the ability to raise the platform so that the pallbearers did not have to try to lower the casket onto the platform. Their website is www.foreverfree.biz but lots of interesting ideas if you google motorcycle hearse sidecars
