This hack is loaded. Electric Lean, Brake/w/quick disconnect, CD Radio with remote, Stereo Speakers, Cigar lighter, Headlight, Floor Vent, Convertible Top, Interior Light. Paint is chalky but will take a shine with some elbow grease..

Woman I bought it from said it was hooked to a BMW GS 1150. Car comes with Nuts, Bolts and Struts but nothing from the Bike side. I'll deliver it within 20 Miles of 85387. I have plenty of pictures if you are interested.

$1800

This may be the fastest sidecar sale in history and the record for a road trip to collect it. We are considering spending a few tourist days. Lots of history and geography to see.

Hi,
Is this sidecar sold? If it is should it still be up or how is that handled? Thank you.

We don't usually delete posts. Hopefully the seller will make a sold post but that doesn't always happen. There is good value in leaving up old for sale posts as reference. In discussion we leave old posts up as well, even the ones I wish I had never made.

HI,
yes I can understand about using the old ads as reference. I've been looking for used sidecar for awhile and it sure takes up a lot of time. I'm a Purple Heart Disabled Marine Combat Veteran. I have several things wrong with me including TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) with cognitive function involvement, PTSD, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (from exposure to Agent Orange) and from time to time I get a problem with my balance plus I have my dog that I need. I purchased my 1994 Goldwing SE 1500 three years ago this coming September and I haven't been able to ride it much. New sidecars are out of my price range. I don't know anything about sidecars and I'll keep looking. If anyone runs into a sidecar for sale, contacting me would be a great help.

Thank you
Frank

Frank, in addition to watching here, go to http://advrider.com/index.php?forums/hacks.56/ and check out the last few pages ( there are hundreds) of the "FS, Fleabay & CL stuff goes here" sub forum

Thank you Jade Lady, I'll check it out. I know I cant get anything that's apart, I'm not really a mechanic. Where is a good place to contact about getting a specific mount for my bike, would you know?

Thank you
Frank

There are links to sidecar stuff for sale in some of the postings you need to click on. Go to the link I posted and click on page 435 under the heading "FS, Fleabay & CL stuff goes here" sub forum. The first post on that page has links to several things. The actual ads are not in the post but are links to where the posts are. Not all the posts will be stuff for sale but a lot are. There are 3 or 4 on that page with pertinent links. That whole sub forum is about hacks and while it's mostly about adventure (off road) riding some of them are informative generally about sidecar information.
There are a couple of Facebook sites I'm familiar with. The USCA(sponsor of this forum) https://www.facebook.com/USCA.Inc/?ref=ts&fref=ts and this one https://www.facebook.com/groups/motorcyclesidecar . You will have to join to post.

Thank you RNMedic,
I really appreciate it. This is a nice group and some folks are helping me. Ya know the song, "When I was young, I never needed anyone"? I just want to take a nice long ride before I leave this world. We never know how many grains of sand are in our hourglass of life. Thank you all.

I just want to let ya know that on Sunday May 21st, I purchased a 1980 Terraplane sidecar. Now I have to find someone to hook it up to my bike. Do these guys go over the sidecar to make sure that everything is lubed and working? I want to get the specific connectors for my 1994 Goldwing SE 1500. Any help pointing me in the right direction will be helpful. I want to thank you all for the help you gave me finding this sidecar. You all really are the best.

Thanks
Frank

Has anyone ever seen a sidecar mounted to a Beemer R1100R. Would the cantilever suspension present a problem?

Can't answer you question but good to see another forum member in Arkansas. If you will post your question as a new subject in the Technical thread I'm sure you will get an answer.
