Gust Jenson writes:
Jerry was admitted to St Mary's Hospital in Duluth last evening
after experiencing 2 heart attacks at home (Judy Drove him in). Once
in the hospital he had 6 more and medicos found all heart valves
clogged so he will have a quad bypass at 6:30 am Friday.

Many of you may know Jerry as the Grand Pew Bah of the Sidecars Up North Klub (SKUNK)
Lets all keep Jerry and family in our prayers.

>HI! This is Jerry's daughter Lori. I just thought I would tell everyone that
he is out of surgery and doing great! He had 5 bypasses, not 4 like we thought
he would.

Thank you all for your support and prayers for our family!
Lori

Also this by Gust:
Lori just introduced herself while I was talking to her Mom. Lorie
and her Mom have the Beauty and Brains of the family, Jerry has the
strong back.

To add to Lori's report, in surgery at 8, out at 1, all went well,
Judy says he looks good.

He got a call of support from someone in NH (know anything bout
that Doug?) and was surprised/really appreciative. In his usual
cankerous way he refused to watch videos usually shown pre-surgery
saying, "I don't have to watch a video of how a mechanic fixes my
car, why should I watch one of how a surgeon does his work -- iffen
he ain't good he shouldn't oughtta be there"

UPDATE 2/12/05
From Jerry's Dayghter relayed by Gust:

Hi! Things are going well.. he had the tube out of his throat so he
could talk. He was cracking jokes already! He asked me to print
some of the notes on the site so he could hear what they were saying
about him!

Thank you for you support for my mom. She is holding up
surprisingly well! Shes tough! We will keep you updated throughout
the weekend!

Lori

Great news about Jerr. I saw him at the Motorcycle show in Minneapolis last Saturday. A lot can happen in a week.
