Thanks for the postcard reminding me to renew my membership earlier this month. I forgot it was stuck on the refrigerator where I'd remember it. I just renewed online this morning.

You know, I followed this site for years before joining in 2014. While I've yet to make it to a national rally, or any other rally for that matter, being a member allows me to help support a valuable online community where like minded people can share information. Honestly, I come here a lot looking for my next rig in the classifieds but being a member helps me to also be aware of events that aren't just tied to one specific type of sidecar rig and I like that. If you're reading this, and not a member, it doesn't cost that much and I encourage you to join today. The link can be found on the main webpage to this forum or you can click here:

http://www.sidecar.com/membership_regs.html

If like me, you're worried that once you join you may be contacted for donations. Don't worry. That's why I saved the postcard. You get one mailing each year saying it's time to renew membership and if you don't, you don't. I'm not affiliated as an officer of the USCA and am just a knucklehead that likes to ride sidecars. It would help if you or a friend that likes sidecars and the experiences riding one brings to you and your community, please consider joining.

Well the USCA is the lowest pressure organization I know when it comes to asking for funds. It is a great organization and I hope to be more active in the future.

The National Rally is in Corning, NY. If that is anywhere near whichever Huntsville is home for you - please consider joining us there. I and my wife are trailering our rig from South Dakota. That is always an option. I promise to not give you a job (unless you want one).

Would love to but ironically I am headed west this summer to the Magruder Corridor in Idaho/ Montana and taking my son to Yellowstone and perhaps Glacier National Park.....I am in north Alabama.

Well - If you are passing through the Rapid City area give me a call. We can meet for coffee or a meal if your trip doesn't happen during Mid July to early August. We are going East during that time to see some sights and go to the rally.
