Subject: clamps


anybody have any ideas on how i can make or buy clamps to connect sidecar to frame on a hardtail. they are way out of my pricerange im on a foodstamp budget. any auto parts work as connector , clamp, and any other hardware. help i got to get the bike stable before i loose it in the snow. robertsolberg2000@yahoo.com robertsolberg2000 yahoo mess.

I've got lots of Velorex U-clamp assemblies (Eye bolt type) that fit most round tube frames. $49.09 each plus shipping.

Bob,Go to the Motorvation site, www.motorvation.com and look at their mounts. They have a choice (on the left side) that says something like, "A close up look at our mounts". Then, on the resulting page, they have a link near the top that takes you to drawings that are good enough for you to use in making your own mounts if you are really handy. I hope this helps. Al Olme
