Saturday, May 30, 2009 is going to be the 6th annual Northern California Sidecar Rally and Picnic. For those who have come in the past you don't have to read any further. But for you that have never come to Lake Berryessa for our meet please read on.

This annual event is happening for the 6th year in a row! Same place and same time. The location of Oak Shores Park at Lake Berryessa, 5800 Knoxville Road, Napa, California. The event gets going about 10:00am and most people are gone about 3:00pm. The Rally is open to all people interested in sidecars, sidecarists, regardless of affiliation. As in the past there is no charge for the event. We would ask everyone to bring food and drink, and a bit to share with others. We supply the charcoal, and a few hamburgers and hot dogs for those who don't bring there own. No camping at Oak Shores. Camping is available at Lake Solano a few miles down the road.

This event is a gathering of motorcyclists that have sidecar rigs and people that are interested in sidecars. There is no set agenda, nor a schedule of events, or organized ride. Just people with sidecars showing off their rigs and telling stories of adventure with them. Last year we had about 30 rigs and about a 100 people showed up.

Families are welcome and dogs on leashes. Swimming is great, fishing is good, it is a beautiful location. You will have a great time.

On a sad note. The local motorcycle shop that sponsored the raffle prizes went under so, no prizes this year.

We had some email addresses from last year that I can't read the handwriting, so everyone is not going to get a email. If you know someone with a sidecar please let them know of the event. For more information please contact Don,, Don loves to talk sidecars. If you can't get a hold of him try Dave,
