I joined at the Dayton rally and was wondering when I would receive my number, first magazine etc.

It should be very soon. Al processes these twice a month and sometimes he has a bunch at a time especially after the rally. You can always check with him at membership@sidecar.com

Yes, Bi-Monthly magazine called "The Sidecarist". Published Jan/Feb, March/April, May/June, July/Aug, Sept/Oct and Nov/Dec is included in membership dues.

There is a link on the home page- It says Join the USCA. Still working on getting this online, keep your fingers crossed and we might have it soon but for now you need to print it out and stick it in the mail.
